First Filming Day

I have not posted much on my blog in a while as my group and I have been filming and getting shot for our music video. For the first time that we were given the camera to film, we filmed in our college's Tv studio. At first we had the idea of shooting and having a main star for our music video but later on decided to change that based on the amount of shots we got and the timing we had. we decided to change this and have various people lip syncing the song and even got one member of our group (myself) to feature in the video and dance as our music video is performance based we need to have a lot of dancing and performance as well as the lip syncing.




We also received a small tutorial from one of the staff members tom. on how to use the cameras and how to set it up and focus for when we go out to our various locations as we would be on our own so would have to do everything alone. I will be posting a video on the tutorial that Tom had given us on how to use the Tv studio and also the lights in the room.




As a whole it was not easy shooting for the first time as we had a lot of work to do and a lot of filming to get done. As a group I feel that for our first shoot we did work well together and we managed to get a few great shots for example medium shots and close ups.
